Ford 1.0 EcoBoost Wet Belt Replacement in Lincoln
£1080 inc VAT
Do you have a 1.0L EcoBoost?
These are belts designed to run in oil and over time deteriorate, delaminate and become very fragile. Cracking can form and the oil strainer gets clogged with parts of the belt that is breaking up.
We specialise in wet belts and in the last year have averaged 8-10 a month.
Inproper maintainance of your wet belt can cause:
- Oil pressure light to come on caused by a blocked strainer.
- Damage the brake vacuum pump due to decreased oil pressure and contamination.
- Engine damage if the belt strips its teeth or snaps.
Parts Replaced:
- Main timing belt (usually Dayco or Gates)
- Tensioner
- Crush washer
- Crankshaft bolt
- Rocker cover gasket
- Oil Filter
- Oil
- We remove the sump to completely clear out the oil pickup pipes of debris.
How long does it take?
We need the vehicle for upto 2 full days. Reason for this is 2 fold:
- The job itself is very labour inensive due to the amount of components that need removing.
- The timing belt cover is sealed with silicone and needs sufficient time to fully cure.
